Outside Sales Representative Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree, BSEE preferred
  • 2+ Years of Technical Sales, preferably in Semiconductors
  • Experience selling to customers in Silicon Valley
  • Experience driving multiple projects concurrently, in various stages of completion – pre sales and post sales
  • Ability to work independently in an environment where collaboration with other team members is essential
  • Strong Presentation, Communication and Organization skills
  • Proven success in:
    • Identifying target markets
    • Prospecting and qualifying customers
    • Selling value
    • Selling new products and ideas
    • Closing deals
    • Building and managing a sales funnel
    • Achieving Sales goals
    • Creating a business out of a territory

Job Description:

  • Work with customer design engineers to provide component, service, and tool solutions from Norcomp linecard  
  • Understand the Consultative Selling approach to listen, identify needs and gaps, and communicate the value of Norcomp’s solutions to the customer
  • Qualify new accounts, matching customer needs to Norcomp's products
  • Manage and prioritize Support Resources from Channel and Norcomp Manufacturers in order to accelerate time to revenue for strategic opportunities
